Devlog: Silence, Sound, and the Void
Hey.
It’s been quiet here — maybe too quiet.
I haven't posted in a while, and I’m sorry for that. Life pulled me into a different kind of void. Things got a bit too real.
For now, uploads might still be rare. But in about 3 to 4 weeks, I’ll return. And when I do — expect daily content. The world of Card Void is growing, and soon, you’ll be able to step deeper into it.
Behind the silence: Sound system rework
I’ve spent time building something subtle but essential —
a modular audio system that knows what it is.
Every sound in the game now understands its own role:
-
Is it the world humming in your ears? (Master)
-
The music creeping behind your thoughts? (Music)
-
Or the sharp sting of a broken thing? (Effect)
Each audio source is marked, connected to a central mixer — and it all just works. No matter the scene, no matter the object, sound behaves... like it should.
Thanks for waiting. Thanks for being here.
More is coming — and the void is always listening.
